York Township Recreation Department
The York Township Recreation Department provides
recreational opportunities and recreational facilities for township
residents. York Township maintains 5 municipal parks. The centerpiece
of our recreational facilities is the York Township park located
on Oak Street about a half a block from South Queen Street. This
site has a walking trail, playground, 3 pavilions and York Area
Regional Police.

Park Building Rental
The York Township Park Building meeting room
is available for meetings, parties, family reunions etc. The building
is located directly across the parking lot from the "Kids'
Kingdom" playground in York Township Park. The room is large
enough to accommodate about 70 people. The cost for York Township
residents or organizations is $25 per hour. Please be aware, alcoholic
beverages are prohibited. For more information, contact the Recreation
